Photography Course Photos

I do love photography, I am known by some of my friends as the "crazy camera lady" as I pretty much ALWAYS carry my camera. Sometimes I have two or even three cameras with me (in extreme cases).

Despite loving photography I have always felt I'm not particularly good at it, so when the chance came up on a one day deal website to do a one day photography course I jumped at the chance to do it.

The tutor was great, although I must admit camera envy as my main camera is still a little "point and click" camera and most people on the course had super huge and super fancy SLR cameras.

The course was taught entirely on the Wellington waterfront, which meant I ended up taking my photos somewhere that I spend a lot of my time, I am not sure if this was a good thing or a bad thing but in did help me to see one of my favourite parts of the city in a new light.

My favourite photos are the super close up photos - its not something I usually do when I am out and about with my camera but I really like them.

I think they're great! I took a photography course too and it really helped, I hadn't a clue what I was doing (still don't really :D)

@ Cosmia - I feel that I know slightly more than I knew before, but there is always more to learn!

@ Rosie - You are fully entitled to be the crazy camera lady if you are a photography student;) The waterfront is quite stunning - if you are even in my part of the world I will happily show you around.

@ Vix - you are so kind - thanks for the lovely comment

@ Alicia - I DID want a SLR camera - but after seeming them all on the course I am slightly terrified of them. Plus they are all WAY to big to pop in your pocket or purse;)

@ Rach - Thanks for dropping buy and your comment.

Fun!! :) i like all the ones with the timber against the water - pretty contrast! :) i just bought a little point and shoot the other day to keep in my handbag. While i love my dslr it can be a pain in the butt dragging it everywhere and I'm always scared I'll drop it/lose it!! :S

Hope you've had a good week!! I still dont have any internet at my new house which means no posts for me but hopefully this week!!

@ KC - isn't it annoying when you move house and the internet company takes FOREVER! You feel like you've gone back in time. I had been wondering where you were - looking forward to posts of your new house, that's amazing!
