Here's a worthwhile event which is on at about the same time as Reclaim the Night - White Ribbon Day - which is a day to raise awareness of and stop violence against Women and Children.

Awesome! Taking self-defense is a wonderful thing. I could probably use a refresher course ... if only I could travel to New Zealand for it ... ;-)
