Wednesday Wardrobe Challenge: Scarves

Hello all! I am back from Sydney with many photos to share and stories to tell. Its a really amazing city and Rich and I had a blast - we spent most of our time in the city but also managed a day trip out to the Blue Mountains and they were incredible!

Unfortunatly I am running a little short on time and I am still pretty tired - we walked a LOT on this trip and I am still recovering from our holiday.

But I did do this weeks wardrobe challenge, fortunately it was a pretty easy one for me - scarves. I do wear scarves fairly regulary, so I didn't have to think too much this morning when I pulled my outfit together.

My friend Kat and I went out to lunch today and then headed to the waterfront to take our outfit pictures.

We have had a very mild winter so far, but today was much colder - the wind was a little icy!

Outfit Deets:

Dress - From Trade Me

Belt & Tights - Glassons

Cardy - Illicit Clothing

Doc Martins - Last Footwear Company, Wellington

Sunnies - Jayjays

Earrings & Scarf - Bling

Ring - Present from Rich for my 30th Birthday

If you want more Wednesday Wardrobe Challenge posts you can check out my friend Sadie's Blog here and Kat's here.

Now just for fun - here's a photo taken from our plane - somewhere between New Zealand and Australia!

Also - I thought I'd share a few of my Australian purchases, I didn't go too crazy (unlike last time I visited Melbourne - although in 2008 the Australian dollar wasn't as high as it is now!).

I did visit one of my favourite Australian Stores, Dangerfield, and I bought a pretty dress in this cherry print fabric. Which I am sure will make an appearance in a Wednesday Wardrobe post in the near future.

I also bought some perfume, I'm not normally one to spend a lot of money on perfume. But I really love these Harujuku ones, music is my favourite and so that's what I bought. Rich bought me one for Christmas a year or two ago and I loved it and used it all pretty quickly!

I even recieved a free gift - a bento make up kit which is pretty darn cute!

Finally, I bought this necklace from the Bondi Markets. I love 1950s motifs, especially swallows and I could not pass this necklace up! Its actually made from leather, so it will be lovely and soft to wear.
Time to sign off for now, but I will be back soon with a WHOLE bunch of photos of Sydney!
