Seen as winter is just around the corner I decided it was time for a mini wardrobe clear out. I am always buying and selling frocks and other things - so I decided it was time to get rid of a few things so I can buy a few more winter things. Anyone else planning for the winter ahead? Or the summer?

Autumn Cleaning.
I follow a lot of blogs in North America and Europe and it seems that everyone is dreaming of summer and enjoying the spring months. But down here in in the southern hemisphere winter is just around the corner - which I am really not looking forward too. I haven't had a winter for a whole year, due to moving between the northern and southern hemisphere. I hope this Wellington winter is kind to me.

Well, I know the rest of the country is gearing up for summer here but I'm a winter child. I hate between June and September in the US. I love fall and spring because it's cool, but not too cool, and then winter itself because I love snow. I'm not looking forward to the next few months. Trade you?
i do that wardrobe clear out every couple of months, it feels really good. plus i put sweaters that i won't be wearing away and put out my sandals! i can't wait for summer.
don't worry winter is fun too! layering is one of my favorite things about winter!

cb - Thanks for your comment - I am rather in love with the thought of cowboy boots at the moment and I can justify buying them with winter around the corner:)
I started mine half-heartedly a few weeks ago! It does feel better having a bit more space in the wardrobe!
I find it pants reading about spring-wear etc even though we've just had summer - it's not fair!! ;)
I'm in denial about winter :(
I have to start swapping my summer shorts, skirts and singlets around to winter appropriate gear in my wardrobe soon...
I feel bad that its winter for you, although our weather is still a little iffy here (sunny last week, raining this week), I know summer is just around the corner. I can't wait! xoxo
