We ended up spending most of our time at the acoustic/folk stage - I can't remeber the name of this singer songwriter but he was pretty incredible and really good natured given that a sprinkler went off part way through his set and then his guitar string broke.

Daniel Pearl Day
Last Saturday, we went to our first Daniel Pearl Day in Taipei. There were two stages - a acoustic/folk stage and a rock stage.
We ended up spending most of our time at the acoustic/folk stage - I can't remeber the name of this singer songwriter but he was pretty incredible and really good natured given that a sprinkler went off part way through his set and then his guitar string broke.
I also really liked this band, which played a whole lot of French songs, they had a piano accordian which was pretty amazing. Unfortunatly I can't remeber their name - it was French!
Finally to finish off - a cheesy shot of me at the festival!
