Hello Taipei!

Hello world! This is just a very short post to let you all know that I am now it Taipei. Our trip here was completely epic - we left New Plymouth at around 8am New Zealand time on Thursday and arrived in Taipei at around 10pm on Friday Taiwan time. In between we slept in a transit hotel in one Malaysian airport and spent nearly a day (mostly reading and eating) in another Malaysian airport.

But now we are here all is well, we spent yesterday having a look around part of Taipei and I do have photo's to post a little later on. We were planning on going out to dinner that night but as it turns out two days of nearly no sleep and walking around a new city for 8 hours finally took it's toll on me and we ended up eating from Family Mart instead - thank God for Kimbab (I guess I'll have to work out what it's called in Taiwan).

Well - just a quick update all! I'll post more pictures of my time in New Zealand and my first days in Taipei soon.
