On Rich's last Saturday in Taipei we decided to take an afternoon trip to an area called Sanxia - know for its ornately carved Sanxia Quingshui Zushi (devine ancestors) Temple and it's old street.
We visited the temple first of all - it was undergoing some kind of restoration (apparently this has been going on for a while), but it was still pretty incredible.







Next it was time to check out the bustling old street and its beautiful architecture.
