Meet Mia!

Recently Rich and I took a mini break to Auckland as part of my birthday celebrations (more about that another time) while we were there we visited a cat cafe and then guess what happened a week after we visited the cafe.
We got a cat! We decided that we didn't want a kitten so adopted an older cat from Wellington Cats Protection League.
We went to cats protection league with three cats in mind, but when we met them Mia was the one that really wanted to "adopt" us!
We are Mia's third family and cats protection league told us that she is 10 years old, but she seems much younger than that - maybe she just carries her age well!
Mia is quickly becoming a very spoiled cat, but also adapting to her new life well (I think), she's always very happy to see us when we get back from work. I'm sure you will be seeing many more photos of her in the future (I think potentially there will be cat costumes on this blog in the not too distant future - perhaps something for Halloween?).

Mia is gorgeous! Look at that cheeky face. Poor thing having three homes before she found you. Give her a massive cuddle from me. xxx

Aw, she's such a cutie! It's lovely that you decided to adopt an older cat, and that she's finally got her forever home and family with you and Rich. She's very lucky to have found you! I'm looking forward to seeing lots of photos of her from now on, especially the Halloween costumes! Haha! xx

Awww Mia is such a cutie! Old cats are the best! We adopted my lovely Jasper at 15 (like you, it was more like he adopted us!) thinking we would only have a few years with him and it was only last year we heartbreakingly had to say goodbye to him when he was 23 1/2, so I hope you have as many happy years with Mia, as we did with our beautiful boy! I've just written a post about him, a couple of posts ago if you want to oogle over cute cat pics! It's great you adopted as well, it looks like she's really made herself at home bless her! XxxX

P.s. I just followed you by the way, I was worried I couldn't until I found your button at the bottom of the page. Cute cat pics and a sewing machine, I'm in! XxxX

Ohh! Congrats! Cats are so great. I've always been a dog person, but then, I got a cat and realised, I'm just an animal person in general! I have two cats and they really do brighten my day up. Can't wait to see more of Mia and your adventures with her! xo
