Thought I'd just post a snapshot of some fun things I've been up too since I've taken a blogging break.
I went on a FART (Fabric Acquisition Road Trip) to Levin and Palmerston North with my friend Emma.
I made a new dress, its a shift dress from Skirts and Dresses for First time sewers by Christine Haynes. The fabric is from my beloved (now closed) Arthur Toye Fabrics.Although I will make it a size or two smaller next time.
Rich and I took a walk to Island Bay, visited the Marine Centre and found a heart shaped rock!
I had high tea with my friend Shell for her birthday, we visited a new kitschy place in Kilbirnie.
Rich and I had our THIRTEEN YEAR anniversary and decided to met some red pandas in celebration.
I completed my first Frosted Pumpkin Stitchery cross stitch as a present for my friend Shell.
Finally Ria and I went to a trampoline park in Petone and followed it up with lunch in the sunshine.
There will be a bit more radio silence at this end as I'm going away on holidays, but expect more regular posts once I return from my trip!

How great to see a post from you, Trees! Meeting red pandas is my idea of a wonderful way to celebrate an anniversary, and I laughed at you heading off on a FART!

Yay! Welcome back! It's not been the same without you. I love your outfits, especially the blue skirt. Congratulations on your new job, and for your anniversary. Going to meet red pandas to celebrate sounds like an absolutely perfect way to celebrate. I'm a little jealous; they're so cute! Also, your cross stitch looks fab, too. xx
Wow 13 years. My first reaction was... Have you been dating since you were 7? Enjoy your trip
